About a year ago while working on a sustainability focused brief I had the idea of a premium, environmentally focused dry hand soap. 10/10 my nerdiest design thought, but after a little research I couldn’t find much else like it on the market, let alone in a premium space. The idea was this: A dry soap that would use 90% less water in its production. It would be packaged in a recycled aluminium tin, (inspired by a soap dish) allowing endless refills. The soap itself will appear and act fairly similarly to washing powder. Only a pinch would be required, activated by a bit of tap water, while the botanicals within would act as a gentle exfoliate. With a premium design aesthetic this product will be sold exclusively online through a postal service allowing customers to send their empty tins back for refills. For the brand I came up with the idea of Lily&theFox - two friends that rely on each others talents and gifts and a shared dream to make the world look and smell great. I wanted a rich brand world that could expand with the product lineup and offer the consumer something more to buy into. I am currently seeking investment to take the project forward.
